About Our New Online Book Clubs
We know how busy you are! Too busy to come to the library for all the terrific book discussions, we 
know. That is why we have developed IPL Online Book Clubs just for you! Now, at your convenience, you can join a discussion about some terrific books, share stories, photographs, recipes and more.
Then, once each quarter we have a book club party! Anyone from any of the book clubs can come to the library to meet and discuss what they have been reading and share some delicious food! We will meet the last Thursday of each quarter at 6:30 PM. You are welcome to bring a dish if you would like to. The next party will be Thursday, December 29, 2011!
To join a book club all you have to do is click the category at the top to see what they are reading. To find out the rules for each club click on the pages link on the right. You may be able to find the books at our library, order them from another library from our online card catalog, (we will call you when it comes in for you to pick up at the library), or you can purchase your own copy. The club moderator will share interesting tidbits about the book, the author, or other pertinent information. Club members can comment on their thoughts, share other insights, or questions. We just ask that you don’t share any spoilers until the last week of the book discussion.
Some book clubs will be held monthly, others quarterly, depending on the moderator. We have a variety of clubs for you to choose from! If there is a genre you would like us to offer please let us know and we will set it up!
Pot Luck Book Club
